Jankov vŕšok is WWII memorial in Slovakia Construction of the memorial began preparing shortly after the liberation from fascistic occupation. Memorial construction was performed without any mechanisms, because at that time was not on Jankov Vŕšok electricity and water supply at all. The construction was entirely done by hand and the water was carried manually on the top of hill. Memorial was built between 1948 - 1951 officially unveiled Aug. 28, 1951 to commemorate Slovak National Upraising.
